Dear Members,
We are writing to share an important update about the future of our club. After an extraordinary 19 years as Chief Executive Officer, David Mantle has made the decision to retire from his position at the end of June 2026 to focus on his rural property interests.
The Club, with sadness, respects and accepts David’s decision and remains deeply grateful for his remarkable leadership and the lasting legacy he leaves at DOOLEYS.
Under David’s guidance, DOOLEYS has grown from strength to strength. He has shaped a culture built on people, purpose, and community. He has successfully expanded our property portfolio, enhanced our facilities, and helped DOOLEYS become one of the premier clubs in NSW. Thanks to his vision, our club is financially sound, vibrant, and deeply committed to our members and the broader community.
During this period of transition, we are delighted to announce the appointment of Nathan Titmuss as Interim Chief Executive Officer, effective 1 July 2026. Nathan has served at DOOLEYS for 22 years, 13 as our Chief Operating Officer and is well-positioned to lead DOOLEYS through this period.
As a result of this transition, the Board of Directors are currently undergoing a process of due diligence with updates to be provided in coming months. Further communication will be provided once known.
David will remain connected with DOOLEYS and will be involved in key milestones, such as the Lidcombe Redevelopment, which will be a landmark milestone for our club.
On behalf of the DOOLEYS Board of Directors we thank David for his extraordinary service and the legacy he leaves behind. Please also join us in congratulating Nathan as he steps into this important role with vision, integrity, and a shared commitment to DOOLEYS’ values and future success.
The future is exciting, and with the support of our members, DOOLEYS will continue to thrive.
Warm regards,
Kevin Morgan
