The Annual DOOLEYS Christmas Fair 2018

dooleys community involvement
07 December 2018

The DOOLEYS Annual Christmas Fair held on December 2 was a great day for the community to get involved for a worthy cause. It is the Club's major charity event for The Children's Hospital at Westmead, to aid in cancer research and support for young children battling cancer.

The sun was shining and families were outdoors enjoying carnival rides, activities and great entertainment. The fair definitely sparked the excitement of Christmas that is around the corner. With the weather and winds picking up, unfortunately the event was cut short, however Members and guests were still pleased with the event.

Our CEO, Chairman and Community Relations Co-ordinator presented a cheque and donation of $50,000 soon after the event to Professor Jennifer Byrne, a donation only possible due to the commitment of our volunteers who worked together as a community to make the day successful. For this reason, we would like to extend our gratitude and thanks to all volunteers and community partners for your support. An even bigger thank you to all our Members and Guests who came and supported the day in good spirits.

The DOOLEYS Christmas Fair is an annual event we look forward to every year - the countdown to 2019 is ticking and we hope to see your smiling faces again.
