Placing Great People through the Beyond The Badge Career Transition Program

In 2021, DOOLEYS Clubs, together with other leading Australian based companies, became a Corporate Partner of the Beyond The Badge Career Transition Program. The program sees former and transitioning first responders take part in a 3-day course to develop their personal brand, career goals, and identify transferable skills through coaching sessions and mentoring. The program aims to assist participants transition to meaningful employment outside of their service.

As a Corporate Partner we will open our doors to showcase our leadership and potential opportunities and to assist where we can to support the program facilitation. We may also be able to identify and place successful candidates whose personal brand and skills align to open roles within our organisation upon completion of the course.

Through our involvement in this program, we wish to demonstrate to our employees and customers that we have a strong commitment to supporting our first responders who serve on the front line protecting and serving our communities across Australia.

About Beyond The Badge

It’s common for first responders transitioning from successful careers with their chosen agencies to face a broad range of challenges when returning to civilian life. One of these challenges is seeking new career and job opportunities.

In 2018, Simon Bradstock and Sean Haran, two former first responders, set up Beyond The Badge to provide support and advice to first responders who are seeking new opportunities after their service. This Not-for-Profit Charity will continue to find success with the support of our Corporate Partners.
