As part of the Constitution of DOOLEYS Lidcombe Catholic Club, any Member intending to nominate for the Board of the Club must meet the following criteria:

• Roman Catholic
• Financial member of the Club for continuous period of 2 years up until the closing of nominations
• Attain a Certificate in Governance, having passed the online exam for the Not-for-Profit sector as part of this Certificate

Important dates for election of Board of Directors:

• Certificate of Governance: Member to have successfully passed online exam by Monday 9 September 2024, in order to qualify for nomination. 
• Calling of Nominations: Monday 26 August 2024
• Closing of Nominations: Monday 9 September 2024 – 5.00pm
• Ballot Paper draw: Tuesday 10 September 2024 – 10.00am (if nominations are contested at the Club in the presence of Members of the retiring Board)
• Voting instructions:  Friday 20 September 2024 emailed, sent by sms or posted to eligible members
• Closure of Ballot Monday:  14 October 2024 – 8:00pm
