On Friday, 9 May 2025, members of the DOOLEYS Board and staff proudly attended the Venus Mother’s Day Lunch at the Hyatt Regency Sydney. This special event, hosted by WomenCan—the fundraising arm of the Australia New Zealand Gynecological Oncology Group (ANZGOG)—aimed to raise vital funds and awareness for gynecological cancer research.

The luncheon was graced by the presence of Paula Duncan AM, a beloved Australian actress and dedicated WomenCan ambassador. Paula's commitment to this cause is deeply personal; she lost her sister, fellow actress Carmen Duncan, to vaginal cancer in 2018. Since then, Paula has been a passionate advocate for advancing research and funding to improve outcomes for women affected by gynecological cancers.

DOOLEYS is honored to support such meaningful initiatives and remains committed to contributing to the fight against               gynecological cancer. By participating in events like the Venus Mother’s Day Lunch, we help ensure that vital research continues, offering hope and better outcomes for women across Australia and New Zealand.
