From 159 participating clubs that plated up over 50,000 competition dishes, we are delighted to announce that DOOLEYS Regents Park's famous Lamb Rump was voted number one for the Western Metropolitan Region and second overall in NSW for the Small Club Category.
Lead by Chef Madan Pandit, General Manager Tomasz Pytraczyk and Food and Beverage Manager Gaby Tannous, the team produced a delicious pistachio and herb crusted Lamb Rump, served with potato purée, honey glaze baby carrots and house made jus.
The amazing dish not only caught the attention of celebrity chefs Manu Fieldel and Collin Fassnidge but was also voted in by our Members numerous times, resulting in the title of number one in the Western Metropolitan category.
"I did request feedback from our Members initially and they all said it was beautiful so that's what I decided to submit for the competition. Thank you to our amazing Members who tasted and voted for it," Chef Madan said of the team's victory.
With our Clubs gearing towards a reopening in the coming weeks, we can't wait to welcome all our Members to try this delicious dish!
