Plating up a success in the ClubsNSW Chef's Table Competition

News - Chef's Table
03 April 2018

The ClubsNSW Chef's Table Competition was a success for the two young talented chefs from DOOLEYS, Sam Sou and Mathew Platersky. The judges were impressed with their culinary skills as they plated up an impressive three course menu and were rewarded and recognised by the panel.

The outcome is a career highlighting moment for the two chefs. The competition is a test to registered Club chefs, measuring creativity, stamina and culinary skills in a race against time and working with little ingredients.

DOOLEYS Lidcombe Catholic Club held a dinner event at the Club to celebrate their great achievement and the public were fortunate to taste the menu for themselves. With a lavish night of great food and wine, Members and Guests witnessed the live demonstration of the dish being prepared by Executive Chef, Paul Jury, with assistance from the chefs behind the menu, Sam Sou and Mathew Platersky. We look forward to competing in the 2018 Chef's Table with our talented Chefs'.
