Transformation Update

07 October 2021

We look forward to welcoming you back to our Lidcombe premise following the relaxation of COVID-19 restrictions and are excited to share with you some changes to our Lidcombe premise.

On the ground floor you will see the addition of a brand-new adult only sports bar, Baileys Sports Bar, an exciting new sports bar offering traditional sports bar amenities presented with horse racing inspired décor and a new TAB facility located adjacent to the main bar.

Further construction works on Level 1 also continue as a new destination offering, The Upper Quarter, is forecast to open mid-November 2021. This includes the relocation of the existing Lloyds Bistro, John Street Café, Members Lounge and a brand-new Kids Play area from the ground floor to The Upper Quarter on Level 1 from mid-November 2021.

These works were brought forward to make best use of the closure period, meaning there will be some replication of offers with Lloyds Bistro, John Street Café, Members Lounge and a Kids Play area available on the ground floor and Level 1 between November 2021 and February 2022 - the benefit being expanded choice and capacity for members as we approach what we hope will be a busy festive season.

As part of our wider club expansion and renovation project, the northern section of the club on the ground floor including the Three Lanterns Bar, the Kids Play area, Existing Lloyds Bistro, the Member Lounge and John St Café will close in 2022 to make way for the major construction works required to deliver a best-in-class new club at Lidcombe.

We thank our loyal Members for their patience during the upcoming construction period as we ensure any impact to your experience to our Lidcombe venue is kept to an absolute minimum.

We hope Members enjoy the new Baileys Sports Bar from Monday 11 October 2021 and The Upper Quarter from mid-November 2021 as further renovations continue to the Lidcombe property in coming months.
